Nintendo announced in January its participation in the 2017 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which will be its first opportunity to present the latest games for Nintendo Switch. The company reveals only partial details on what would be happening on the said exhibit.

E3's annual event is always a remarkable time for Nintendo. It's considered as a unique opportunity for the company to relate its story. The E3 2017 is expected to be great, Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America president told Fox News.

“We’re going to be showcasing a variety of games. We will have experiences for… consumers will be able to attend the show for the very first time. So I’m not gonna tell you all of the various games and all of our little secrets for E3, but I can tell you that E3 is going to be a major opportunity for us to showcase not only Nintendo Switch but also content coming to Nintendo 3DS,” he added.

It can be recalled that Wii U didn't make a good standing in terms of market sale since its release in late 2012. Owners of the console are also experiencing a gap release of games for months, BGR reported. Therefore, Nintendo Switch needs to offer continuous valuable games to avoid the fate of its predecessor.

Nintendo Switch's recent launch is a big win for the company despite its expensive price tag. It gained a positive feedback from fans and from the analysts as compared to Wii U.

In fact, the company planned for a console that is as successful as Wii, which was released in 2006. The Wii U fiasco leaves a lesson for Nintendo about altering its manufacturing procedure. Now, the company produced its Nintendo Switch with an impressive game experience even on a small screen.

Meanwhile, reports are claiming that fans of Nintendo Switch could now purchase the console next week. Amazon previously announced the stocks to be available today, March 31.
