AMD is reportedly working on new processors, which are the Ryzen 5 series. This is to reaffirm the company's dedication in supporting and providing a great gaming experience to tech fans.

AMD announced publicly the high-powered Zen designs where it mentioned its Ryzen 5 1400, which is a desktop processor. According to Videocardz, a teaser video on YouTube showed the difference between the AMD’s Ryzen 5 1400, Intel i5 7400, and the Pentium G4560.

AMD’s Ryzen 5 1400, is the slowest Ryzen 5 model containing four cores and eight threads while Intel’s i5 7400 has four cores and four threads. On the other hand, Pentium G4560 is a budget KabyLake CPU with two cores and four threads as well.

According to Forbes, Ryzen 5 1400 is the most affordable Ryzen 5 CPU variant with a price tag of $169 only. The Ryzen 5 1500X model is more expensive with a rate of $189 though it performs faster.

Previous speculations are claiming that there's no Ryzen 5 1400, instead, it's only a Ryzen 1400X and 1300. But the recent announcement of AMD mentions a Ryzen 5 1400 and not Ryzen 1400X or 1300.

The news outlet also reported that sample units of Ryzen 5 1400 were already being sold on Ebay for $181. In addition, it’s believed that the costing would, later on, drop down closer to $169.

The tech specialists displayed the entire specs of the AMD Ryzen 5 1400 and Intel Core i5-7400 processors. It was shown that the two processors packed a similar 8GB DDR4, 2133MHz RaM, 1TB HDD, HIS Raden RX 480 IceQ X2 8GB graphics. Both also sport Windows 10 Pro x64 Operating System.

However, the Ryzen 5 1400 with four cores and eight threads is probably the choice of gaming enthusiasts. It’s considered to be a good decision over Intel's Core i5-7400 having four cores but only four threads and with a higher price of $199.
