Google announced that Motorola Nexus 6 can download the Android 8.0 OS, which is a new operating system replacing Nougat. This should be a big surprise considering that the device was released in 2014.

Up until now, people are patronizing the smartphone even though it's been three years since its release due to its premium specs. Motorola Nexus 6 is the product of the Motorola and Google partnership. Motorola furnished the device with bounty specs whereas Google incorporated its new Android 8.0 updates. As a result, they produced a famous Android smartphone that was never been created before.

Motorola Nexus 6 is still popular even, until now, due to its long-lasting battery performance. It is packed with a large built-in 3,220 mAh battery that has a standby time of 330 hours and a talk time that could last to 24 hours.

As a review, Motorola Nexus 6 is powered by Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor. The chipset clocks at 2.7GHz Krait 450 alongside Adreno 420 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

The smartphone offered 32GB and 64GB storage space models but are not expandable. Nevertheless, users of the 64GB Motorola Nexus 6 can still use Google’s Cloud storage service if the model can no longer accommodate more apps.

Furthermore, Motorola Nexus 6 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, sports a 13 MP of rear camera and 2 MP of front camera. It also has a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 with a 5.96-inch display and AMOLED touchscreen with 74.1% of a screen to body ratio. The smartphone is currently available with a price tag of Rs 16,999 (roughly $ 265).

The new Motorola Nexus 6 also appeared to be a competent phone as compared to LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P. Meanwhile, fans will just have to sit tight and wait for the latest Android 8.0 Oreo to arrive in the market.
