'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2' Cast Update: Jude Law To Play Junior Dumbledore

Warner Bros. has implored Jude Law to play the role of young Albus Dumbledore in the sequel of the film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." In this film, Albus Dumbledore will be seen, even before he became the headmaster of Hogwarts as he was previously portrayed in the eight films of "Harry Potter." The two-time Oscar-nominated actor is a known face to Warner Bros. and was considered fit for the role of young Dumbledore.

The fans are simply thrilled to find out that Jude Law is joining as a member of the cast in "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them 2." The character of Albus Dumbledore is a universally adored one. The film is scheduled to begin its shooting this summer with the other returning stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston and Johnny Depp who will be playing the role of the villain Grindelwald. The director is David Yates and producer is J.K. Rowling. According to BBC, the film has not found a title yet and but will be arriving in theaters on Nov. 16, 2018.

J.K. Rowling who made her debut in screenwriting on "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" has also kept her sequel ready which is set in the times of an increasingly dark time for the world of the wizard. Rowling revealed that Jude Law is undoubtedly a phenomenal actor whose work she had been admiring for a long time. She said she is glad that she will be finally getting a chance to work with Law, revealed IGN.

The director David Yates said that Jude Law is a brilliant actor and he will be effectively capturing all the features of the character of Albus Dumbledore. So, all the die-hard fans of Jude Law will have wait for a year and a half to see him on screen playing the character of Albus Dumbledore in "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them 2."
