Jordan 11 Retro 'Georgetown' Release Date & Price: Where to Buy on April 11?

The Air Jordan XI "Georgetown" edition will be coming out in a day. According to the official Nike website, its release date for these iconic shoes will be Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 10:00 AM EDT.

The shoes are available in full family sizes at varying prices. For adult men sizes, the sneakers will cost $170. Meanwhile, in girl sizes (3.5 -7Y), the shoes will cost $120. For pre-school sizes (10.5C-3Y), it will cost $75, while toddler sizes (5C-10C) will be priced at $55.

According to Kicks on Fire, the Jordan XI "Georgetown" will be available at Jordan Brand and Nike accounts. Latinos Post adds that the sneakers can also be found at the Flight Shop.

The official colorways of the shoes are grey mist and midnight navy-white, which is supposedly inspired by the Georgetown University school colors, reports Kicks on Fire.

According Latinos Post, the shoe features the Georgetown University because it was Michael Jordan's rival university during his time at the University of California when he was still playing college basketball.

Sole Collector also reports that the new colorways "references Jordan Brand's longstanding connection with that school." The brand previously released a collection of "display only" Georgetown Air Jordan's.

The "Georgetown" edition seems similar to the Air Jordan 11 Low "Concord," which was released last year, in terms of design and constructions, adds Latinos Post. According to Nike, the shoes try to bring a formal look to the court by using patent leather on the sneakers.

The shoes are described to have a clean white midsole and an icy translucent outsole. For a smooth and balanced look, the sneakers have a grey mist mesh which leads all the way to the tongue. The sock liner of the sneakers features a darker grey hue compared to the other parts of the shoes.

There are several logos placed in various places around the shoe. A sideways black tag can be found in the middle of the tongue stating, "Jumpman Jordan." At the back of the shoe is a white stitched version of the Jumpman logo, while another black version can be found in the outsole.

 A third Jumpman logo can be found on the insole of the sneakersagainst the number "30," which represents the Jordan brand's age. Lastly, as a reference to the basketball legend's jersey number, a vertical "23" can be seen printed on the heel tab above the stitched Jumpman logo.
