April 12, 2015 is National Grilled Cheese Day. To celebrate the occasion, Skout, a dating social network, decided to conduct an interesting study comparing grilled-cheese sandwich lovers with people who were not particularly fond of the sandwich. The results of the study were surprising to say the least.

According to Fox News, the dating site surveyed over 4,000 users asking about their sandwich preferences. The study discovered that "32 percent of grilled cheese fans have sex at least six times a month versus 27 percent of those who don't like the sandwich."

Over all, 86 percent of the people who answered the surveyed stated that they love grilled cheese sandwiches, reports The American Register. The ultimate grilled-cheese sandwich on the survey was described as "an ultimate American and cheddar cheese without toppings, placed between two breads."

Among the participants, 73 percent who declared their love for the sandwich also stated that they had sex at least once a month whereas only 68 percent of those who did not care for the grilled-cheese sandwiches had sex at least once a month.

Furthermore, 32 percent of grilled-cheese lovers declared they had sex six times a month while only 27 percent of people who did not favor grilled-cheese sandwiches said they experienced the same amount of sexual encounters in a month.

Besides increased amount of sex and maybe even the sex drive of a grilled-cheese lover, the survey also measured other aspects of a person, reports Fox News. According to the study, 84 percent of people who liked eating grilled-cheese sandwiches were adventurous compared to the 78 percent of non -lovers.

The American Register reports that kindness was also measured in the study. Lovers of the cheesy sandwich surpassed non-lovers. When asked "how nice they are to people in need," 81 percent of grilled- cheese lovers stated they would donate their time, money, and food to people in need. While only 61 percent of non-lovers shared the same sentiments.

The survey also measured the different types of grilled- cheese lovers. According to the study, 40 percent of lovers are purists, meaning they prefer sandwiches with only one type of cheese, while 60 percent liked mixing two types of cheeses in their sandwiches.

Meanwhile, 47 percent of grilled-cheese lovers choose to add a little something to their cheese sandwiches like pesto or tomatoes; compared to 53 percent who just preferred cheese in their sandwiches.
