Taylor Swift went to Los Angeles to work on the music video of her song, "Bad Blood," last Sunday, April 12 following the announcement of the diagnosis of her mom's cancer earlier this month.

Swift was seen walking around the set of her upcoming video with a bold eye makeup and a long ponytail that might have been added with extensions as the singer currently has shorter hair, according to US Magazine. Her wardrobe was unknown as she was swathed in a white robe. Two of Swift's friends, Zendaya Coleman and Cara Delevingne, were also photographed, reportedly sporting futuristic hair and makeup and walking around in a robe around the same set.

According to Billboard, "Bad Blood" will allegedly be the next hit single from Swift's 1989 album although there has not been any official announcement yet. The singer also dispelled rumors that Kanye West will be making an appearance in any of her videos.

It was only last Thursday that the pop star revealed through her Tumblr blog that her mother, Andrea Finlay, was diagnosed with cancer and would be receiving treatment. Her mother insisted that she announced the news publicly, so her fans may tell their loved ones to get screened as early as possible, Pop Dust reports. The details of the songstress' mum's diagnosis were kept private.

"The results came in, and I'm saddened to tell you that my mom has been diagnosed with cancer. I'd like to keep the details of her condition and treatment plans private, but she wanted you to know," the singer wrote in the post.

"She wanted you to know because your parents may be too busy juggling everything they've got going on to go to the doctor, and maybe you reminding them to go get checked for cancer could possibly lead to an early diagnosis and an easier battle."

The 'Shake It Off' star added that her mother may not be joining most of all her shows in her upcoming tour this year because of the cancer treatment.

Finlay decided to get screened after Taylor insisted last Christmas for the former to undergo a routine checkup. She gave in because she wanted to ease the minds of daughter and Austin, Taylor's younger brother. The 57-year-old mother received her diagnosis earlier this month.

The "Blank Space" star is reportedly very close with her mother and has even written a song about Finlay in 2008. Swift's Tumblr post ended with: "Thank you for caring about my family so much that she would want me to share this information with you. I hope and pray that you never get news like this."
