Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend, recently checked out of rehab and wants to see Kristina.

A rep confirmed last Tuesday that Gordon has returned home after a rehab of almost seven weeks. He is reportedly staying with his family.

"He's doing great," Josey Crews, Gordon's rep told the Daily News. "He's a completely different person. His outlook on life is completely different." The rep added that Gordon still wants to see Bobbi Kristina despite being barred by both the Houston and Brown families.

"He is very distraught over what is going on," an uncited source told UK Daily Mail. "He really wants to see her. He is upset about a lot of things: her being sick, him never getting respect [from her family]."

"Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively," an unnamed source said. "He has respected the family's wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted."

Nick Gordon checked into rehab last March for alcohol abuse after guesting in an emotional episode of Dr. Phil, E! Online reports. "He just wants to die," Nick Gordon's mom, Michelle, told Dr. Phil in the interview. She added that he was very sad over Bobbi Kristina's condition.

Gordon would only be allowed to visit Bobbi Kristina if he can fulfill certain requirements, Bobby Brown's lawyer said via NY Daily News.

"Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe. At least not desperate enough to inform Bobby Brown, in writing, what happened to Bobbi Kristina," lawyer Christopher Brown said.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only daughter of the late Whitney Houston and R&B Singer Bobby Brown, is still unresponsive despite being no longer under a coma.

"I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive," Cissy Houston told US Magazine in a statement dated April 20, Monday.

"Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me.  We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time," she said. "Keep us in your prayers."
