Apple senior vice president Eddy Cue tweeted that the company is "working to have Home Sharing in iOS 9."

The release of the latest iOS 8.4 version from Apple last week also removed the Music Home Sharing, which has upset many users, according to a report by Mac Rumors.

Peter Kaufman tweets to Apple senior vice president Eddy Cue: "Hey @cue, I hope I don't have to be @taylorswift13 to get you to restore Home Sharing for music!"

The tweet spurred the reply which confirmed that Music Home Sharing will be on iOS 9. It is unknown whether the feature will be partially or fully reinstated or upgraded.

Home Sharing is a feature that allows iOS users to stream iTunes media from any Apple device such as iPhone, iPad or iPod that is connected to a single WiFi network.

According to Apple Insider's report, Apple removed the feature from the newest OS release last week; however, Apple TV and Apple desktop users can still share music and video.

The Daily Mail notes the Home Sharing feature was likely removed because it "rivaled Apple's Family plan on Apple Music." The plan has a free three-month trial, and beyond that enlists a fee of $14.99 a month where a six-member family can share the subscription.

In the new OS update, some changes were also made, such as the new look of the music player and the iTunes store. Several issues in iBooks have also been fixed and added with a Now Playing feature for audio books.

It was just last month that famous pop icon Taylor Swift took to social media about her complaint about Apple Music.

In her blog she wrote:

"I'm sure you are aware that Apple Music will be offering a free three month trial to anyone who signs up for the service. I'm not sure you know that Apple Music will not be paying writers, producers, or artists for those three months. I find it to be shocking, disappointing, and completely unlike this historically progressive and generous company."

In her post, she also aired concern for new artists, bands, and songwriters who are just breaking through the industry but will not be paid for their releases or royalties. Because of this, Apple rescinded to the politely worded blog.

SVP Cue tweeted Swift with: "We hear you @taylorswift13 and indie artists. Love, Apple."

The iOS 9 rolls out fall of this year. Apple has already begun public beta testing, as per Redmond Pie.
