Eloise Mumford, who plays Anastasia Steele's friend, Kate,  teases about what's coming in their second movie installment, "Fifty Shades Darker."

Following the highly successful first movie, "Fifty Shades of Grey," an adaptation of the erotic book written by E.L. James, many fans around the world are anticipating the second installment of the intense erotic romance between Anastasia "Ana" Steele and Christian Grey, played by Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan respectively. According to the Guardian, the movie hit $500 million at the global box office.

In an interview by Glamour Magazine, Eloise Mumford shared about her experience on the set, with the entire cast and crew of the much-hyped movie franchise.

Mumford revealed that in the second movie, her character, Kate will discover the "scandalous" relationship between Ana and Christian. She adds that because of that, it becomes a huge moment for her character and Ana. Kate becomes worried and protective over Ana, while falling in love with Elliot Grey (played by Luke Grimes), Christian's adoptive brother, in the course of the movie.

When asked how she came to like her character, Mumford said that Kate is multi-dimensional and realistic. The author also helped her on the set by answering questions she may have had while portraying Kate. Mumford added that she related to Kate with regards to giving advice to her friends about dating men like Christian.

Mumford's interview also revealed that a new director was tasked to film the second movie, replacing Sam Taylor-Johnson.

It was officially confirmed by Taylor-Johnson, 48, that she has officially parted ways with the franchise.

"Directing Fifty Shades Of Grey has been an intense and incredible journey for which I am hugely grateful. I have Universal to thank for that," the filmmaker said in a statement via Deadline. "I forged close and lasting relationships with the cast, producers and crew and most especially, with Dakota and Jamie. While I will not be returning to direct the sequels, I wish nothing but success to whosoever takes on the exciting challenges of films two and three."

Speculations abound as to why Taylor-Johnson split from the second installment. According to Entertainment Weekly, the filmmaker reportedly had creative differences with the book author.

Other rumored characters slated to have parts in "Fifty Shades Darker" are supermodel Cara Delevingne as Leila Williams, a stalker who was Christian's former submissive and Charlize Theron as Elena Lincoln or Mrs. Robinson, Christian's former dom and current business partner, according Venture Capital Post.

Meanwhile, five other actors are considered to play the role of Jack Hyde, Ana's new boss, including Henry Cavill, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jai Courtney, Shawn Ashmore and Wes Bentley, according to rumors.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is set to be released on Feb 10, 2017.
