Tony Stark will once again excite fans as the fourth installment of the Iron Man franchise may be coming to theaters soon.

According to Venture Capital Post, the fourth standalone film featuring Tony Stark are delayed since its actor, Robert Downey Jr., has asked for a higher talent fee. RDJ was once named as the highest paid actor in 2013 and 2014 for acquiring $75 million for his movies in both years.

Despite the postponement of filming, the outlet added that RDJ is still up for another appearance as Iron Man.

However rumors are floating about the "Iron Man 4' movie," which we have listed three:

1.) Harley Keener May Replace Tony Stark as The Protagonist for "Iron Man 4"

Harley Keener, the character played by Ty Simpkins in "Iron Man 3," was the little boy who helped Tony track down the Mandarin. Rumors on the fourth movie say Harley will be taking over the superhero job with Tony retiring from the post, according to Master Herald. This suggests that the fourth movie might be set in the far future with Harley all grown up and every bit as talented and smart as Tony was at his age. This will also likely prompt casting changes for the upcoming movie as well.

2.) "Iron Man 4" may be released in 2019

In the report by VCP, "Iron Man 4" may be released after "Marvel Phase 3." The 3rd phase, according to Screen Rant, will begin production in 2017, which means that the fourth standalone Iron Man movie may be set to be released in 2019. With the recent release of "Ant-Man," the final movie for the second phase of Marvel's Cinematic Universe, Marvel will be preparing to film three movies in Summer 2016 including "Spider-Man."

3.) The "Iron Man 4" Plot Could Revolve Around The Ten Rings

Speaking of "Ant-Man," the movie made a reference to The Ten Rings when one of the businessmen who went to Pym Technologies for the Ant-Man shrinking technology revealed a neck tattoo, a symbol for the "Ten Rings of the Mandarin," according to ET Online.

The Ten Rings were part of the reason why the Iron Man suit was created in the first place. They were the terrorist organization that kidnaped Tony Stark in the first "Iron Man" movie. In that movie, we learned that the terrorist group only hired an actor to act as the leader, The Mandarin, suggesting that the real group is hiding in secret. In the second installment, Harley Keener came into play as he helped Tony find the real Mandarin.
