Duchess Kate Middleton has expressed on many occasions wanting to have three children. Some news sources say that the royal couple is planning to have baby number three before Kate reaches the age of 35.

An unnamed source allegedly close to the couple has confirmed that Kate wants to have three children.

"Kate is one of three and is very close to her sister Pippa and brother James. Although the Cambridges already have a boy and a girl they haven't definitely decided to stop there," a source to Express. "They both benefited from growing up with siblings who were close in age. Of course Charlotte is still only a baby but in a year's time, who knows?"

Kate and her sister Pippa Middleton are only a year and 8 months old apart. Meanwhile, Prince William and Harry are more or less two years apart.

The outlet added that the Cambridges may have a third child added to their brood sooner than later because the Duchess just turned 33 in January. Many studies have revealed that women may have difficulties at the time when they hit their mid-thirties.

Fertility declines by age 35, and the chances of conceiving past that age is low with an increased chance of miscarriage or birth defects on the infant, according to BabyCentre.

However, according to a report by the Examiner, Prince William may not be so keen on having a royal child so soon. He is concerned with Kate's severe morning sickness condition, which landed her on the hospital, during her pregnancy with their first two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Express added in their report that royal engagements for the royal prince and princes will be put on hold for as long as possible to give them time to have a chance at a "normal life."

"People forget that William is second-in-line to the throne, not the heir apparent. While he knows all too well the importance of his role in the monarchy, he has no desire to supersede his father," an aide told the outlet. "Prince Charles fully supports William's decision to put his family first. He wants William to be the best possible father he can be.

And even though Kate just had Princess Charlotte this year, the Duchess maintained her lovely figure. According to Celebrity Health Fitness, Kate's baby weight loss secret is the juicing of organic fresh greens daily. The Duchess also stayed fit throughout her pregnancy by doing prenatal yoga and walking.
