Members of Sony's PlayStation Plus will now have a say in which games they would like to play for free. According to Game Bolt, Sony recently announced the PS Plus Vote to Play program.

Game Spot explains that under the program, gamers have the opportunity to vote on the next Plus freebie game. The voting process will start on Aug. 13, at 8:30 AM PDT and ends on Aug. 24 at 8:30 AM.

To cast a vote, PS Plus members should log onto their PS4's with their PSN account. After logging in, gamers can go to "What's New," "Notifications," or visit the PS Plus section of the PlayStation Store, to see the full details of the program.

The game that receives the most votes will be included in the free game lineup for September. PS Plus members can still play the other runner-up games, as they will be offered at a discounted price, following the end of the voting program.

Gamers will get to vote on three games, which include: "Grow Home," "Zonbie Viking," and "Armello."

"Armello" is described as "a grim fairy-tale board game come to life." The main goal of the game is to become the ultimate ruler of Armello. Players will need to do a lot of brainstorming in "Armello," as it features tactical card play and requires tabletop strategy. In addition, the game does contain RPG elements.

On the other hand, there is "Grow Home," which is making its official PS4 debut.  Gamers will play a robot named BUD or Botanical Utility Droid in "Growing Home."  In this game, players will need to find the Star Plant, in order to save BUD's planet. The game has an open-world setting, which includes a planet of floating islands, caves, waterfalls. PlayStation's official blog notes that the art for "Grow Home" is very simple, but beautiful nonetheless.

The last game on the voting roster is "Zombie Vikings," made by the developers of "Stick It to The Man!"  This game is described as a "co-op, four player stab-you-in-the-gut-a-thon with a dead-funny adventure."  It seems to be the perfect game to play with friends.

While the main goal of the game has not been described, the PS blog does state that players will get to discover how soccer was invented, fight giant troll poultry, and have a bunch of other mundane adventures with their friends.
