Fans of "Five Nights at Freddy's" are pleased to know that Gil Kenan, director of the "Poltergeist" remake, will be using real, full-sized animatronics for his film version of the game.

Fansided states that the real animatronic puppets will be made at the Henson Creature Shop. Pictures of the animatronics in-making can be seen on Gil Kenan's official Twitter account.

Mike Howes sent a tweet to @gilkenan saying: "You're answering so many questions (very cool) no sure if you answered this. Will the animals be at least partially practical?"

To which Kenan answered: "...I want this to be crazy practical - that's what makes animatronice so unnerving - they're REAL."

According to Touch Arcade, Kenan is just as intrigued as fans by the lore behind the game's story. He has claimed that FNAF's theme, mythology, and place is perfect for a film adaptation and will surely lead to sequels if done correctly.

He plans to focus on all the disturbingly creepy animatronic puppets for the film, not just Freddy. Movie Pilot suggests including Mangle, Golden Freddy, one of the nightmare animatronics, the Puppet and Springtrap. This line of animatronics will add to the obvious line-up that will appear in the film, which include Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.

According to Movie Pilot, Mangle is one of the scariest and dangerous animatronics in the game. In addition, it would be nice to see a flashback of Mangle, since FNAF 2 is a sequel.

Meanwhile, by including Golden Freddy, Kenan can shed some light on the mysterious air about the puppet, which has been circulating since day one. No one really knows much about Golden Freddy or if he is even real.

Adding one of the nigtmare animatronics will give some extra scare factor into the movie, while including the Puppet is essential to the game's storyline.

Movie Pilot places Springtrap as the most important animatronic to include, since out of all the puppets, he is basically the only true villain. Springtrap is possessed by the spirit of a cold blooded child killer, also known as the Purple Guy.

Even though Movie Pilot lists Springtrap as the number one must have animatronic in the movie, Touch Arcade states that Kenan will probably not feature the Purple Guy in the FNAF movie.

The release date for the FNAF movie has not been announced yet.
