Sora will get to fight alongside Baymax from "Big Hero 6" in the third installment of "Kingdom Hearts." According to Movie Pilot, Shinju Hasimoto, from Square Enix, made the official announcement this weekend during the D23 Expo.Featuring "Big Hero 6" in KH3 will mark the first time that a property of Marvel has made it into the game series.

Not only will Baymax be in the open-world RPG game, the entire world of San Fransokyo will be featured in "Kingdom Hearts 3," states Trusted Reviews. Gamers will also get to meet and possibly fight alongside Hiro, Honey Lemon, GoGo, Wasabi, and Fred in the game.

Roy Conli, who works for Walt Disney Animation Studios and produced the award-winning animated film, gave sparingly few details about Baymax appearing in the game.

"The themes in Big hero 6 and Kingdom Hearts match very well. For instance there's friendship, really important to both stories, and then of course light over darkness," said Conli.

He added that the game's events will take place after the movie. While "Big Hero 6" fans were happy to hear about the new world, there was one sad bit of information.

According to Polygon, Sora and Baymax will have to fight against the healthcare robot's old body, which was left in the portal at the end of the movie. Apparently, the powers of darkness in "Kingdom Hearts 3" took over Baymax's old body and is using it for evil purposes.

A picture of Sora riding Baymax and fighting a black, sinister-looking Baymax was revealed at the D23 Expo, probably shocking and exciting gamers at the convention.

Other than "Big Hero 6," Square Enix has officially confirmed that gamers will also get to explore the world of "Tangled" in KH3. Latinos Health adds that gamers will get to see a bit more of Hercules' world as well.

Baymax has been the biggest news about the game so far. Tetsuya Nomura, the game's main developer, and Square Enix have been tight lipped about the worlds featured in the game.

Another announcement made about "Kingdom Hearts 3" during the Expo was that Sora's keyblades will have real-time transformations, which players can control, reports Movie Pilot.

No news has been released about the game's release date. However, Nomura did tell OPM UK, that the game's basic systems and mechanics are already set, reports iDigital Times.
