The awaited sequel of Disney's blockbuster animation "Frozen" will center between the relationship of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna of Arendelle according to rumors.

According to a report by Movie Pilot, the movie had a similar plot to "The Snow Queen," a classic fairy tale by Christian Andersen, with Princess Anna having been accidentally frozen by Queen Elsa's power. The website stated that the sequel could be having Anna in conflict with Elsa, by blaming the Queen as an "after-effect" of what she did to her.

As for the other characters, they will likely join the fray as they take on sides. Another conflict may arise from old and new characters as well.

Many possible plots and subplots alike could be in "Frozen 2" as there are scarce details about it. According to Christian Post, Director Chris Buick has said that the second movie will show new perspectives of the two main characters.

"In the previous production, Elsa had such a difficult journey, and finally she is just beginning to feel like she should be open and enjoys life again. That is what was good about her in "Frozen Fever" follow-up sequel - we could enjoy with Elsa, and that bit will be unveiled in the next one," said Buick.

He added that the audience will know more of the relationship between the two royal sisters.

"We have two very strong female characters in 'Frozen.' We will sustain that in the next sequel. We will handle other issues that, I believe, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are facing," Buick explained.

The report added that Olaf will also get a love interest and that Elsa will be getting a new dress. The popular song "Let It Go" will also be sung in duet by Elsa and Anna as well.

Latinos Post reported that the main cast of the original movie will be back for the sequel. Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell will reprise their roles as Elsa and Anna, as well as Josh Gad as the voice of Olaf and Johnathan Groff as Kristoff.

"Frozen 2" will be released in theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.

In another news, Gad denied the rumors that there will be no spin-off movie for the adorable animated snowman, Olaf. According to IGN, Gad said that there will be no movie "until there's a reason to do it."

"You know what it comes down to is John Lasseter and his brain trust who run Pixar and Disney are very sensitive to making sure it's coming from a place of character and story," Gad told IGN.
