"Frozen 2" is definitely happening and here are three possible storylines that might make it to the sequel.

The sequel for the super blockbuster animation was officially announced earlier this year. Since the first film's showing in theaters last year, "Frozen" has become the top highest-grossing animated film of all time.

Before the confirmation of the sequel, the directors of the film, Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, once said that the "characters are very rich" and that "there are other stories left to tell," according to the report by Latinos Post. The "other stories" that the directors spoke of could very well be anyone's.

All the main cast of the first movie will be back in the sequel. Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell will still be voicing Elsa and Anna while Kristoff and Olaf will be voiced by Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, respectively.

Here are three likely storylines that could be on "Frozen 2."

1.) Elsa and Anna could have a brother

According to the report by YMTV, director Chris Buck said that the King and Queen of Arendelle did not die in the shipwreck we saw in the first movie.

"Yes, there was a shipwreck, but they were at sea a little bit longer than we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat, to a little boy," Buck said.

However, Buck continued: "So in my little head, Anna and Elsa's brother is Tarzan - but on the other side of that island are surfing penguins, to tie in a non-Disney movie, 'Surfs Up.' That's my fun little world."

The report inferred that many fans of the movie are considering the possibility of the Anna and Elsa having a brother, but as Buck explained, "I say, whatever people want to believe, go for it... If you want to tie them all together, then do it. That’s the spirit of Disney."

2.) More sisterly bonding

Another article by MTV News stated that Anna and Elsa "will go on an adventure to strengthen their bond" despite the Queenly duties of Elsa and Anna's life pursuits. The outlet also stated that Chris Buck and the whole "Frozen" team already have a very strong concept and that he is "excited about doing it."

The article adds that Buck is also concerned about getting a great message across the children who are fans of the show.

"When the kids watch [Disney movies], they watch them over and over again, and if we don't have a decent message in there, I think we've missed an opportunity," Buck explained.

3.) Olaf will have a love interest

The Telegraph reports that Olaf could be getting a girlfriend in the sequel. According to Christian Today, now that everyone in the kingdom has acclimated to the ice powers of their Queen and the sisters have made up, it is entirely possible that Olaf be given a love interest in "Frozen 2."

The premiere date for "Frozen 2" has not yet been announced.
