Taylor Swift has come a long way from singing about high school boy crushes and finding Romeo. In her latest music video, "Wildest Dreams," T-Swift shows a more mature and realistic version of love, which also reveals how much the 25-year-old actress has grown.

"Wildest Dreams" features Taylor and her co-star in the video, Scott Eastwood. While many have commented on the classic look and feel of the music video, it is not the fabulous gowns that Swift wears, or even her 29-year-old co-star that makes "Wildest Dreams" Taylor's first official adult music video.

All her fans have already seen Swift rock classic looks. In "Blank Space" alone she was paraded in several outfits reminiscent of the past. No it is not the adult attire that marks this particular video as Taylor's entrance into adulthood.

Neither is it the fact that Scott Eastwood is her co-star. Although he does help a little, since Eastwood has a more mature look than all of the other male co-stars featured in Taylor's past music videos.

The aspects of the music video that best shows Taylor's growth as a musician and a young woman are the lyrics of the song and the ending of the music video. The first verse sets the mood for the song as per usual, but the chorus shows reveals her growth.

She sings in the chorus:

"Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams
Wildest dreams "

She also ends the song on a melancholy note singing: "Say you'll remember me..." The last words of the song reveal to listeners that Taylor's character is content with just being remembered by Eastwood's character.

In addition, the striking ending also reveals the young singer's transition from a young girl to a young woman, reports People.

Instead of a happy ending, where boy gets girl, there is emptiness, pain, and a bit of heartache. In past videos, Taylor has always depicted her love songs as hopeful, where the jock falls in love with the geek, or Romeo comes for the princess.

However, in "Wildest Dreams," Taylor leaves the love story open ended, unfinished, and bitter sweet. The audience does not know if Eastwood's character will divorce his wife and win Taylor's heart back.

According to Hollywood Life, the award-winning singer released her "Wildest Dreams" music video at the MTV Music Awards on Aug. 30.

"Wildest Dreams" has an old -Hollywood theme, with T-Swift channeling another legendary Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor that is. In the video Swift rocks stunningly gorgeous jet black hair, which really brings out her piercing blue eyes.

Meanwhile, Scott Eastwood, is the picture of perfection. Eastwood seems to have come right out of an old-fashioned Hollywood film. He plays the part of a devilishly handsome, but brooding actor for T. .
