'Uncharted 4' release date, prices & updates: what pre-order bonuses to expect with the digital deluxe edition

Gamers may want to consider pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." Sony recently released information on some of the pre-order bonuses of the game, reports iDigital Times.

The "Uncharted 4" Digital Deluxe Edition will cost $80 at the PlayStation Store and other retail stores that sell games. For those who would like to upgrade their pre-orders from the standard edition to the deluxe edition, it will cost $20.

Besides a digital copy of the game, the pre-order bonus edition will allow gamers to instantly unlock two multiplayer customization items and receive a "Uncharted 4" Triple Pack.

The Triple Pack will allow players to access the first single-player story add-on of the "Uncharted" series, at a later time. In addition, two multiplayer packs are included in the Triple Pack, which allow access to rare legendary multiplayer items.

For those who are interested in the Triple Pack, but do not want to buy the digital deluxe edition, Sony will be selling the Triple Pack separately, reports IGN. However, the price of the Triple Pack on its own has yet to be released.

Even more awesome is that different retailers will have their own pre-order bonuses, besides the two mentioned above.

Gamers who pre-order at GameStop will get a Multiplayer Booster pack, which instantly unlocks a number of one-time multiplayer boosts. GameStop will also give gamers The Phurba Dagger Taunt, seen in "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves."

On the other hand, Amazon will be giving way the Snow Camo weapon customization and the Desert Drake outfit multiplayer customization, for players who pre-order the deluxe edition.

While at the PlayStation Store, the Desert Weapon customization and the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" Dynamic Theme will be included with the pre-order of the game.

Not to be outdone, the physical versions of the game also have some really nice treats for "Uncharted" fans, specifically the Special Edition of "Uncharted 4" and the Libertalia Collector's Edition.

The Special Edition will cost $80 and includes: a Steelbook case, a hardcover art book, a Naughty Dog and Pirate Sigil sticker sheet, and even some Naughty Dog points.

Meanwhile, the Libertalia Edition costs $120 and includes everything in the Special Edition, plus some other cool collectors items. Besides the goodies found in the Special Edition version, Libertalia includes: 12" Nathan Drake statue, three multiplayer outfits, two custom weapons, a ball cap with the Henry Avery Sigil, and the Madagascar sidekick outfit.

Besides pre-ordering the game, players can also pre-load the game before its release on March 18, 2016.
