Bruno Mars is rumored to be in talks with NFL reps to headline the halftime show of Super Bowl 50, reports Fansided. "The Lazy Song" singer has headlined a Super Bowl halftime show before, during its 48th anniversary.

Mars' performance in Super Bowl 48 has been one of the most memorable shows to date, states Entertainment Weekly. Not many musicians have been asked to headline the Super Bowl halftime show twice and within such a short period of time.

Super Bowl 50 will be held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, according to the official NFL website. The big sports event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016.

With a time and place set and a possible performer ready for the halftime show, there is only one question that remains: which teams will be playing against each other at the golden anniversary of the Super Bowl.

Football fans and experts alike have taken to the Internet and predicted which teams will make it to the Super Bowl. Some have taken a mathematical approach, while others have just based their predictions off of sheer love for the team.

Despite the different methods, however, certain football teams have been favored to reach the Super Bowl over others repeatedly. The staff at Pro Football Talk has already released their predictions for the Super Bowl.

According to the PFT staff, the top three NFC teams that will make it to the conference championships are: the Packers, Seahawks, and Eagles. Meanwhile, the AFC teams that have a strong chance of making it to the conference championships are the Ravens, Patriots and Colts.

The Toronto Sun agrees that the Patriots have a good shot at making it to the Super Bowl, especially with Tom Brady playing at his best. As for the Colts, the Toronto Sun feels that the team still has a lot to prove, but may have a decent shot at the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, NESN believes the Ravens will have a difficult first week against Denver.

On the other hand, NESN lists the Seattle Seahawks as their top contender for Super Bowl 50, given the fact that the team is coming into the season relatively healthy and Earl Thomas' shoulder has healed.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles has a good lineup for this season, giving them a pretty good chance at the Super Bowl as well. As for the Green Bay Packers, their chances do not look too good. Jordy Nelson is injured, but the offensive line is not doing so well either.
