Capcom is famously known for its games like "Street Fighter" and "Resident Evil" but did you know that the company also made a lesser known open-world role-playing game called "Dragon's Dogma"?

It focuses on combat and uses pawns to aid gamers on their epic adventure. It made its debut in 2012 through the gaming consoles PS3 and Xbox 360 and luckily, the company has decided to bring it to PC for all fans to enjoy.

According to PC Gamer, "Dragon's Dogma" is a fantasy role-playing game (RPG) which features several characters, quests and a log of fantasy-build beasts and enemies for fighting. It's main feature is the Pawn system where you can choose your own character and include several pawns borrowed from other online players to create your own "party". Furthermore, it has boss-type fights that allow your character to climb on top of large enemies so you can see and attack specific locations.

NDTV adds that following its release in 2012, an expanded version called "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen," was unveiled to include the region "Bitterblack Isle" and increase the set of monsters, armors, characters and quests. It included the original "Dragon's Dogma" game and DLC content, but was notably better than the original when it comes to graphics and quests. This version of the game did very well on the gaming market and was highly-rated by game reviewers from different console communities.

Three years later, possibly due to the positive response and demand from fans, Capcom has announced last Tuesday that it is finally releasing the game to PC with full Steam support, complete with high-resolution graphics and a better gaming experience. Furthermore, fans and players will be able to decide which controllers to use as the PC-release will still support controllers from Xbox One and Xbox 360, on top of the traditional mouse and keyboard control scheme.

Fans gave positive feedback about about Capcom’s decision to bring the RPG to PC. It could be because they can’t wait to battle magical and mythical beasts, learn and master several vocations for their characters, and prepare to embark on an epic adventure only RPG can provide.

"Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" will be unveiled on Windows PC this coming January 2016. It will retail for $29.99 and includes Steam support, Capcom-Unity writes.
