It looks like Las Vegas has not seen the last of Britney Spears yet, as the pop princess announced on social media that she plans to extend her residency for two more years.

According to E! News Online, the "Toxic" singer is not yet ready to leave Las Vegas and has decided, to the delight of her adoring fans at The Axis show at Planet Hollywood, to stay for two more years. The reason? It's because she can't just leave this year.

Britney shares how much she loves the city, doing the show; the band, crew and dancers have already become like family to her.

The 33-year-old singer has delightedly shared how "Britney: Piece of Me" will change over the next years because she and her team have been talking about new ideas, new design and basically, new everything to add to the set.

She also states that many old fan favorites will be included in the line up, which will add excitement to the already amazing show. Initially, Britney was torn whether to take Planet Hollywood's offer to extend her residency and thankfully, she has decided to stay.

The "Oops, I Did it Again" singer began her Las Vegas show last December 2013, performing several times a week and often back-to-back, New York Daily News writes. It was previously rumored that the star considered ending her residency on the first year of her contract, but due to good reviews and sold out tickets, she had a change of heart, similar to what pushed her to stay for two more years.

As of press time, no details have been provided as to whether her $75,000 per show income will be increased along with the renewal of her contract.

Her two-year extension will be the second time Britney decided to prolong her residency after she has requested for a three-month extension last May. The star tore her ligaments while performing on a sold-out performance, which caused her to take few days off.

She was grateful that it wasn't too serious because it would have stopped her successful Sin City show and wouldn't have been able to celebrate her 100th performance on stage.

Britney's decision to stay made her fans delighted and some even took to Twitter their celebratory reaction to the news, USA Today reports. As proof of how awesome her show has been, the Las Vegas Review journal named the "Britney: Piece of Me" the "Best Overall Show" and "Best Bachelorette Party".
