When Ghost Games announced that "Need for Speed" will be released on PC, many fans rejoiced because it will definitely mean a better and more amazing experience is underway. However, it looks like fans and gamers will need to hold on to their seats a few months longer as the company declares it will be moving the "Need for Speed" PC release to a much later date.

Need for Speed reports that based on what Ghost Games has read on Facebook, Twitter and other community discussion sites from fans, they have decided to move the "Need for Speed" release date to Spring 2016. This is mainly because the company agrees that an unlocked frame set should be made priority, and in order to make this happen, it'll be best to delay the game's PC release.

Ghost Games believes this move will help the company incorporate all the necessary add-ons, development, and features to "Need for Speed". They will be able to assess and tweak the visuals and will also be able to update the game's content, making it available for all PC users and gamers starting its official release.

Fortunately, fans do not need to worry as Ghost Games will proceed with their PS4 and Xbox One versions of "Need for Speed" this November, Gamespot writes. The company also plans to undertake a PS4 and Xbox One closed beta during the following weeks in order to test the infrastructure of the server and prepare the company for the launch.

The arrival of "Need for Speed" on PC, PS4 and Xbox One is highly anticipated by fans due to the live service and evolving experience it has promised to give them. Unfortunately, the game will require an Internet connection before that "experience" can be felt, PC Mag writes. This feature may have put off gamers, especially when this has already happened to SimCity.

Besides being available on your favorite consoles, Electronics Arts has made several additions and updates to the mobile "Need for Speed" game, which can be easily downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. This may probably hold the wrath and excitement for the mean time.
