It looks like Stephen Curry will not be the only NBA MVP on the Golden State Warriors team as two-time MVP and former LA Lakers player Steve Nash will be joining the coaching staff.

Furthermore, Curry is apparently excited about this as he posts on his Instagram his reaction to the news, captioning it with, "Finally we get a decent coach around here", writes Bleacher Report. Obviously, as the caption is followed by a rolling eye emoji, Curry might just be poking fun at Steve Kerr, the GSW coach. Maybe it was his way of getting back at Kerr for his "willing to newest Curry and Ryan Carson" comment during a Fox Sports interview?

Whether that's the case, ESPN writes that Nash, who announced his retirement last March, had no plans of coaching, but was talked into by the team's president, Rick Welts, and Kerr to spend time with the team and work with the players individually for a few months. Sources share the deal is already being finalized and will allow Nash to be an occasional tutor for the guards.

Last season, Nash has done the same thing with LA Lakers players Jordan Clarkson, Jeremy Lin, Kemba Walker, and CJ McCollum. Because of this, Nash made himself a hot commodity for most teams as sources reveal Dirk Nowitzki and his Dallas Mavericks team were hoping to get him out of retirement and reunite with Nowitzki as a point guard next season. Of course, the Lakers were also sad to see him go as they consider it as an end to Nash's mentoring to D'Angelo Russell and Clarkson.

Nash is an All-Star player eight times and have been known to do magic plays that earned him a back-to-back MVP wins, CBS Sports adds. If he joins the coaching staff, it means you will get three accurate shooters in NBA history all together.

Kerr has a 45.4 percent 3-point shooting capacity, the highest in the league's history, and an 86.4 percent free throw average. Add in Curry, who happens to be the third highest 3-pointer in history with 44.1 percent and 90 percent free throw capacity, the third in NBA history as well. If you bring in Nash, who happens to be the tenth highest 3-point shooter in the league's history, with 42.8 percent and the most accurate shooter from the free throw line at 90.4 percent, then you definitely know what's going to happen.
