Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton first bonded during the NBC's The Voice Season 9. At that time, Gwen had her divorce and Blake also divorced Miranda Lambert. As many would know both of their musical backgrounds are quite far, but they also share some similarities.

Gwen added that "It's definitely two different cultures, but there are many similarities, in things that we love and our morals. But it's really fun when you can learn about so many new things and share those differences."

It shows that their relationship came at the right place at the right time, as her divorce with Rossdale slowly imposes on her. One of Gwen's "Don'ts" would be the failure of marriage, given she does not mind what other people think about her. She shared that the during marriage plays an important role and must need hard work to be successful in married life.

On the other, not only Gwen is thankful to have Blake in her life, but also Blake is thankful for Gwen. He shared that Gwen saved his life.
