Kurt Russell And Goldie Hawn Grace The Golden Globes In Their 34th Year Of Relationship! [VIDEO]

Veteran actors Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn continuing to be head over heels for each other was one of the highlights at the Golden Globes Awards 2017. The couple have been together for over 3 decades now and they fittingly chose the Awards night to flaunt their long lasting relationship.

According to ABC News Kurt Russell termed the evening as a "date night" for him and Goldie Hawn as the couple have been with each other since 1983. When asked why they refrain from the media so much and what made them choose this particular night to come out in public after such a long time, Russell said that it was after 15 long years that Goldie Hawn has gone back to work. So she was invited to present at the awards. Hawn will be making her comeback with the movie "Snatched" playing Amy Schumer's mother. The film is due for a May release.

Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn presented the Best Performance by an Actor in a motion picture award together, which was eventually won by Ryan Gosling for his performance in "LaLaLand". The two cracked jokes on the podium and the audience could not help but laugh and enjoy.

In an interview given to Extra TV Russell and Hawn said they were very happy to be together for the last 34 years unlike the contemporary celebrity couples. Answering to why they were not seen together for such a long time at an event like this Russell joked, "We don't do these very often. You have to wear a tie."

Hawn paid homage to the recently deceased Carrie Fischer by recalling her working days with Fischer in the 1975 movie "Shampoo". She said that Fischer was a very beautiful young girl equally talented and ahead of her years at that time. Though her relationship with Fischer was not very deep but it was something that she will always cherish, added Hawn.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell's 3 decades long relationship is a prime example to look upto for the many celebrity couples who breakup on petty reasons and sometimes just for attracting cheap publicity.
