Welcoming the new year with a goal to live healthy is the most common New Year resolution. Before going through a rigorous workout program, it is important to know the simple weight loss method that could be very helpful in staying fit for the rest of the year.

According to a report by Independent, there are a few Instagram fitness experts who are sharing their best practices to people who would want to shred the extra pounds off of their body. Not only will it help people get in shape, it will also prevent acquiring illness cause by unhealthy diet.

Here are some of the tips that will surely help people get the momentum they need to start working out and believe in achieving their ideal body form.

Drinking a lot of water a day can certainly help a person burn more fat. This may not come as a surprise since people have been taught to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, but many people are still neglecting this simple way of staying fit.

Drinking enough water will ease up your appetite, which is very important in the process of losing weight.

Too much restriction on diet is not good. In a report by Daily Mail, fitness blogger Faya Nilsson stated that she perform badly in her workout if she does not include carbs in her diet. She said that restrictions will only allow people to crave more on foods that they do not commonly eat because of limitations.

"I am a big believer in having a balanced, healthy and rounded approach to eating."

The more restrictive a diet is, the harder it is to stick to and make sustainable indefinitely, which is the most important factor behind whether a diet is effective or not," Nilsson explained.

Do more squats. Nilsson said that squats improve body posture and it is a fun exercise to release those fats from your body. It is also one of those exercises that involve different muscle groups. One good thing about squatting is you do not need to be at the gym to do it. You can do the exercise at the comfort of your own living room.

Do not use the smartphone in your workout regimen. Carly Rowena, who is famous for her workout tips on Youtube, said that holding a smartphone during a training session is not the best practice anybody wants to follow. People should concentrate with enough intensity during workouts.

"When it comes to fitness it's all about pushing past your comfort zone, getting sweaty, making noises and pulling the most unattractive of faces!" Rowena explained.
