"Legend of Zelda" is one of Nintendo's most popular games and as news of a new trailer is about to be released for its Wii U launch, there are strong indications the game might also be out for the NX.

Forbes reported that fans have been eager to see "Legends of Zelda" on the Wii U since last year but, unfortunately, Nintendo previously publicly said it will not be making any announcements about the game's development until 2016. With only a few weeks into the New Year, the speculations and rumors continue to grow. The delay in any news or information is concerning and some fear the release of "Zelda" could be met with another delay this year.

The news outlet reiterated that the game still exists, but footages or details might not be made available until the E3 event, which is happening in June 14-16, 2016, per the official site.

iDigital Times reported that "Legends of Zelda" might not even be exclusive to Wii U once Nintendo does launch its latest version. The delays suggest that the gaming company might be planning to release "Zelda" with the launch NX, its upcoming hybrid next-generation console.

Nintendo NX's launch is expected to happen also in June, as previosuly reported on Latinos Health. There have been reports that three flagship games for the NX are currently in development, and one of these could actually be "Zelda."

Game Pros reported that the company has actually prepared to make a huge announcement about "Legends of Zelda" in a form of a new trailer. It is already out there somewhere and it's published and stored in a password-protected site. The news outlet got the details based on a trusted and reliable source.

Further, the trailer is said to be entitled "First Draft," which means that Nintendo could still be polishing this and wrapping up its production. Game Pros also speculated that "Legends of Zelda" will be likely launched in both the Wii U and the Nintendo NX.

Gospel Herald reported that the trailer is geared for parents and their kids and will feature a young girl who declares her desire to be like Link, the hero in the game. As she puts on a custom, the girl's father also joins her in her gaming adventure. The trailer apparently ends with the statement, "only on Wii U screen." The news outlet also said that it's possible the ad is for the game's 30th anniversary, which takes place this year.
