Oprah Winfrey dropped 26 pounds announcing that she's on a Weight Watchers diet plan. However, the celebrity is also plagued by rumors that she's faking her diet.

The media star shared on Twitter Monday that, in following a Weight Watchers diet plan, she is still able to eat bread every day while keeping her weight loss goals. Oprah gushed that she loves to eat bread and she's thrilled that her diet allows for this.

CBS News reported that Oprah's post pushed Weight Watchers' stocks to soar on Wall Street with a 20 percent gain. Oprah became the company's spokesperson in October 2015 and it was also announced that the former TV talk show host was putting investments into the company.

"Weight Watchers has given me the tools to begin to make the lasting shift that I and so many of us who are struggling with weight have longed for," she said in the press release. "I believe in the program so much I decided to invest in the company and partner in its evolution."

As part-owner of the company, Oprah is also tasked to share her diet experiences and become an adviser in Weight Watchers' strategies and program development. "Oprah is a force of nature in connecting with people on a very personal level to live inspired lives. This partnership will accelerate our transformation and will meaningfully expand our ability to impact many millions of people worldwide," said the company's chairman Ray Debbane.

Meanwhile, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that Oprah's slimming techniques isn't all about diet alone, suggesting she hasn't been truthful to her followers. The story alleged that Oprah underwent cosmetic surgeries too. "Oprah looks as if she's possibly had some plastic surgery to slim down her neck and add definition to her cheekbones," noted cosmetic surgeon Dr. Alan Matarasso in the report.

However, the influential Hollywood star isn't new to plastic surgery stories. Irish Examiner reported that Oprah addressed a similar rumor back in 2003 while she was still hosting her daytime talk show.

"According to this I've had a breast lift and liposuction and a chin implant. Why would I want that? It's not true," Oprah told her viewers. "But, hey, I must be looking pretty good. I will be the first to tell you if I have plastic surgery."
