Apple to Launch Three 'New iPhones in 2017': iPhone 7, iPhone 7s Plus, and 'Ferrari'

Apple's East Asian supply chain's information was leaked by Weibo user in China. The leaked information is about new three iPhone models. The codename for the models are D20, D21, and D22. As the newest model, the iPhone 7 has D10 for its codename, the D20 is supposed to be the iPhone 7s, D21 for iPhone 7s Plus, and the D22, which is rumored has the internal codename 'Ferrari'. These iPhones will be launched in the next year 2017.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo's prediction, KGI analyst, a half year ago, the new IPhones will have all-glass chassis design with integrated wireless charging. And the 'Ferrari" will get a higher feature a 5.1- or 5.2-inch borderless OLED display with "invisible" home button, and other improved technologies. He also predicted that Apple plans to launch a 'different' iPhones with a curved glass 5.8-inch AMOLED display next year. Talking about a glass casing, Apple has adapted it in iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s.

Apple Insider also states "Ferrari" is expected to come with a substantial internal redesign that breaks the logic board into two discrete units connected by a flex cable, the report said. "A11" Soc is expected to be on the first board iPhone's operating guts, while a communications package with Wi-Fi and cellular components, NAND flash storage will live on a second board." In addition, the SIM tray of the new iPhones will be relocated from the side of the iPhone to the bottom of the handset to make more room for internal components, like the iPad Pro.
