Apple is reportedly sourcing AMOLED Displays probably for its iPhone 8. The Displays that are being produced are 5.8-inch AMOLED Display, 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch TFT LCD Display Panel with expected shipment of 70 million units.
The codename for the models are D20, D21, and D22. As the newest model, the iPhone 7 has D10 for its codename, the D20 is supposed to be the iPhone 7s, D21 for iPhone 7s Plus, and the D22, which is rumored has the internal codename 'Ferrari'. These iPhones will be launched in the next year 2017.
There are a lot of things Apple fans are expecting from the upcoming flagship mobile device, the iPhone 7. But, one thing that is almost a certainty to come as a huge disappointment is on the display department.
Kuo predicts that the 2016 release of the iPhone 7 will come in three sizes with each one, specifically, catering to three different price tier. According to a report from Forbes, the latest leaked info coming from Kuo involves the production of an entry level iPhone that has a screen size of 4 inches, and unlike those from the C series, it will no longer sport a plastic body but will have an upgraded metal chassis.
