“Dragon Ball Super” Multiverse Tournament is now taking place. After Majin Buu won the battle with the member of the Trio of Dangers, Kicker Basil, the second fight would commence in the upcoming Episode 80 of the series. Son Gohan is set to battle the group’s second member, Lavenda.

Comic Book reported that the fight synopsis is that after Majin Buu winning the first battle, Gohan is set to battle Universe 9’s Lavenda. In which, the opponent uses poison that blinded Gohan. Thus, “Dragon Ball Super” very own Gohan is now in trouble. Gohan being blinded by the poison, the warrior also couldn’t sense the opponent's Ki. It was also mentioned that his father, Goku doesn’t seem to care about his son’s problem.

On the contrary, according to Blasting News, Gohan is said to be confident about himself beating the warrior. Yet as “Dragon Ball Super” episode’s spoiler goes as the usual Herms88 had leaked, given that the fight wouldn’t start well, the young warrior makes a comeback.

Herms 88 tweets stated that the “Dragon Ball Super” scoop on the fight is that Gohan would be awakened. It was then speculated that the new Gohan would unleash new powers. The tweet then noted how the design that had leaked showed Gohan’s dormant power unlocked. Indeed as the next episode is entitled "Awaken the Dormant Fighting Spirit! Son Gohan's Battle!!"

Thus, Inquisitr also speculated that Son Gohan might awaken his Mystic Form once more due to some of his scenes in the “Dragon Ball Super” opening theme for the Universal Survival saga and in some of the scenes in the last episode of the previous “Future Trunks” arc. Given that said, if that event would happen, Gohan would indeed prove himself worthy of being a successor of his father, Goku.

Yet as spoiled, priest Daishinkan would disqualify the Venomous Lavenda for using poison since not only did it blinded Gohan but as well affected other people watching. Thus, Universe 9 is decided to be erased by Zeno-Sama. But, an adjutant of the Universe 9 uses his sacred baculo to go back in time so that their universe would not be erased. Rest assured, “Dragon Ball Super” would air next week, Feb. 26.
